The first is a roundtable held in Newport Beach, Calif. on Feb. 5, 2010, from 9:00 a.m. – 10:30 a.m. at the Hyatt Regency Newport Beach. The title is How Social Networking, Mobile Computing & the Millennial Workforce will Shape Corporate America. In this session, you are invited to join local technology executive, Shadrach White – ImageSource CTO, and other corporate executives in an interactive roundtable to explore how a new set of social technology dynamics are affecting how we do business.
During the hour, attendees will examine how social networking sites like LinkedIn, Facebook, MySpace and Twitter, together with Mobile Devices like the iPhone, BlackBerry and Netbooks are shaping the way information is created and disseminated. Like cell phones, email and Internet, social media has the capacity to transform our work environment and processes. The second roundtable will be held at the Red Lion Hotel in Olympia, Wash. on March 11, 2010, from 9:00 a.m. – 10:30 a.m. The title is The Millennial Workforce – Information Management Solutions for Web 2.0. This is Part II in the series, and the follow up to How Social Networking, Mobile Computing & the Millennial Workforce will Shape Digital Government. This roundtable will explore solutions around collaborative tools and how to best utilize them.
